Bose Home Speaker 300 Launched in India, Priced at Rs. 26,900
Soon after launching its latest noise-canceling Headphone 700 in India, Bose is expanding its lineup in the country. The American audio specialist has now sold Rs. The device is now up for pre-order on Amazon.in, and will go on sale from August 29 at Amazon and offline locations.
The Bose Home Speaker 300 is a part of the Home Speaker lineup with Rs. 39,000 Bose Home Speaker 500 in India. The Home Speaker 300 features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, enabling Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice-based conversations and music streaming. The speaker is not wireless, and must be connected to a power outlet at all times to function similarly to other smart speakers such as the Amazon Echo and Google Home range. Additionally, the speaker also supports Apple AirPlay 2 for Wi-Fi streaming from compatible devices.
The company also sells Bose Soundbar 500 (Rs 59,000) and Bose Soundbar 700 (Rs 79,000), which is part of the Smart Speaker range in India along with the Bose Home Speaker 500. All devices feature the same connectivity, with support for Amazon Alexa.
Bose is also bringing Google Assistant support for its other smart speakers through a software update. The update will be pushed to the limit automatically, and users will then be able to use both Google Assistant as well as Amazon Alexa on the speaker. Earlier this week, Bose offered Rs. 34,500.
